Double Whammy!!!!

Well, for those of you who have been following the blog, and are mad that I haven't posted in a while, this one's for you!! There really hasn't been much to blog about in the last 3 weeks, but today we went for our 9 week ultrasound. The ultrasound tech started the ultrasound, and a funny thing showed up on the screen.....a second sac. We are having TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ultrasound tech was shocked, we were shocked, the doctor was shocked, and the nurse was shocked!!! It was quite comical I'm sure, but it was really emotional for us. We are thrilled to death. Baby A's heartbeat was 171, measured 2.55cm, and 9 weeks 2 days, while Baby B's heartbeat was 169, and measured 2.36cm and 9 weeks 1 day (which is exactly how far along I am). It was such a shock, because today was the only day I have felt really bad (kind of crampy, nauseous, tired, and cranky), so that really changed the day. It was really fun to tell my mom. We showed her the first picture, which only shows Baby A and shows just an second "empty sac", then the second picture shows Baby B and Baby A looks like an "empty" sac. The third picture shows two babies in two sacs...no doubt about it!!! I will post pictures on our my photoalbum.com site for you all to see. So, this day has changed a lot of things, including our possible due date (probably not going to make it to Feb. 15th now!!!).

Yay!! This is the best news ever! I knew there couldn't be just ONE little baby, YAY for Baby Ford 1 and Baby Ford 2 (the shy one)!! We continue to pray everyday for everyone's health, we will add the surprise addition to our requests!
Love you.

Wow! The single baby was good enough...this goes Way beyond our expectations (although we tried really hard not to have any expectations). How could it get any better? We keep hoping for the best and have great anticipation for the future. The whole idea of being a great aunt and uncle has not hit home yet. Thanks for the update. This is all we can think about. Wow!
